London is very lucky to be the home to talented Icelandic born makeup artist & illustrator Isak Helgason. Renowned for perfecting skin and precise, beautiful make-up, Isak has enjoyed working with photographers such as Juergen Teller, Silja Magg, Arved Colvin Smith, Kari Sverriss, Pelle Crepin, Theresa Marx & Matt Irwin and for publications including Elle, Glamour, Tatler, Sunday Times Style & Hunger.
Isak is the Contributing Beauty Editor of Glamour Magazine (Iceland).
His celebrity client base is an enviable mix of actresses, music artists and top models including Noomi Rapace, Olga Kurylenko, Lily Cole, Toni Garrn, Anja Rubik, Constance Jablonski, Tatiana Kovylina, Cara Delevingne, Eva Herzigova, Dua Lipa & Nicole Scherzinger.
Isak comes from a fine art background and views make-up artistry as just that, a beautiful art form and loves to draws his inspiration from old Russian art, Tibetan tapestry and the colours of India. Isak spent years teaching make-up workshops to students across Scandinavia on using emotion in your work and has been fortunate enough to collaborate on pieces with respected artist Gabriela Fridriksdottir and recently with Of Monsters & Men on their aclaimed video for 'Little Talks’.
Isak lives in East London with boyfriend James and their miniature Schnauzer.
